GPL is a NATA and RCPA accredited laboratory covering all disciplines of laboratory medicine including Biochemistry, Haematology, Microbiology and Histopathology. Our Specialist Pathologists are supported by a dedicated Laboratory Scientific team which is underpinned by friendly and reliable service.
Since 2003, the GPL practice has encompassed Specialist Histopathology and Cytology Services and Cutaneous Pathology (Dr P. Heenan), providing a total quality service that excels in all disciplines of laboratory medicine.
The Main laboratory is located in Fremantle and has branches north and south of the river, as well as in Rockingham, Mandurah, Pinjarra and Margaret River. The Cutaneous Pathology Practice operates from its traditional premises in Nedlands. In March 2007, the introduction of Mount Pathology provided further services to the Perth community. The Mount Pathology facility is based at the Mount Hospital on Mounts Bay Rd in the CBD.
